Southern Association for College Student Affairs SACSA Fellows Internship Program
The Southern Association for College Student Affairs (SACSA) Fellows Internship Program was developed in 2004 to provide graduate student members with the opportunity to engage in a different professional opportunity on a hosting SACSA member institutional environment different from their own. The primary goal of the program is to place the student in a unique institutional environment while experiencing a varying professional development challenge. In the pilot year, the University of Maryland College Park and Florida Atlantic University, provided internship opportunities for two impressive students from the University of Georgia and the University of Alabama. The SACSA Executive Board and President, Dr. Colette Taylor have approved the continuation of the program and would like to invite two SACSA member institutions to serve as host sites for eligible SACSA interns.
If you have questions please email Corrie Harris, Director of the SACSA Fellows Program directly at charris@sa.ua.edu or call (205) 348-5036. Information can also be faxed to (205) 348-7610. Thank you again for your support and interest in the SACSA Fellows program.
* Typically internships begin in May and end as late as August
